Workshop

Knowledge that remains in every detail.

At our workshop in Trviž, stone travels from a selected slab or block to an element whose dimensions, edge and surface are resolved together.

The hand knows where detail needs care

Handwork remains important when shaping an edge, profile, transition or the final impression of a surface. It does not replace planning or precise fabrication; it complements them with a feel for the material. Details are therefore not added at the end, but developed as part of the whole.

Tools in service of clear execution

We use cutting, shaping and polishing to bring material to the agreed dimensions and expression. The approach is determined by the stone, the project and visible details, not by a pre-set formula. The aim is a clean line, an intelligible joint and a surface that suits its intended purpose.

Quality is a shared task

A good result is made through collaboration among client, designer where involved and workshop. Before fabrication, we check decisions that affect appearance and execution, and through the work we remain focused on their consistency. Quality is therefore not only a final check, but the way a project is carried forward.

Good to know

Can we discuss a sample and detail before work begins?

Yes. A sample, drawing or photograph of the space helps us align material, finish, edges and visible joints before work begins.

When does hand finishing play a particular role?

Hand finishing matters where final character depends on an edge, profile, joint or surface nuance. Its role is determined by the individual element and material.
